Here at Cano Wealth Strategies, Katie Cano strives to be our problem solver, communications specialist and key organizer. As the office manager, her technical skills have become an invaluable part of the business.
Katie grew up in Hopewell, New Jersey. After graduating from Boston University and starting a career in physical therapy at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, she married Michael and moved to East Windsor, New Jersey. They started a family with a commitment to balancing career and children with grace and determination. Katie hasn’t missed a beat when it comes to raising their three daughters, Caroline, Sarah and Elizabeth.
Now, with more than 16 years of operations and client service experience, Katie believes it is evident her new specialty is wealth management client services. She works closely with Michael regarding internal office workflow, answers client questions and is involved with the accounting and marketing areas of the practice. She also serves as the key administrative contact for retirement plans.
While Katie enjoys spending time with friends in her Hendersonville, NC community, she especially loves being with her daughters and her golden retriever. When she’s looking for some quiet time, you’ll likely find her in the garden or with a good book.
